we are an NGO and would like to create a custom workflow where every new contact is assigned to a company, just in our case a company represents a household. So we cannot do it by the e-mail domain but have to rely on other indicators.
The idea is that we create and if/then branch with the following logic:
1. Once a new contact is created the workflow should check if there is either already a matching e-mail address, physical address and/or person with the same first and last name in our CRM.
a)If not, it should create a company with the Last Name of the person plus "Household", e.g. "Smith Household".
b) If one of the criteria matches, it should send a notification to our database person so she can verify that t is a matching household, or decline it. If verified, the contact should be added to the household, if declined a new household should be created.
Does anybody know how to set this up? It would be highly appreciated!
