Custom Salesforce automation failed: what does it mean?

Hi All,
I push my contacts into salesforce via workflows and into campaigns. Recently I received a few errors with the message "custom salesforce automation failed". Had anyone faced this before? What does it mean?
The "Custom Salesforce automation failed" error message is an error from Salesforce's side which prevented the creation of the Campaign membership object for contacts due to custom code/rules you have set up in your Salesforce instance.
HubSpot can't pinpoint what exactly causes it because that is all we get back from Salesforce on this.
For the next steps, I would recommend checking with your Salesforce admin to see if there is automation or rule in place that might be affecting your records and the integration with Hubspot.
