Creating a list for associated Labels

Good morning

I have created an association label for "Decision Maker" and about to associate contacts with this label.  Before I venuter down this route.  I would like to ask, can I create an active Contact List with the association "Decision Maker"

You hadn't mentioned any object, hence my question.

If you want to create a list, you would have to filter for contacts associated to a company where the association corresponds to a label, see an example below:

Does anyone know how to do this with a contact<>contact association?

Being able to see how many people with association label of "X" and then be able to run a workflow to set a property if they have an association label?

Trying to keep record of Contacts who refer us to other Contacts I was hoping the Associated Contact property would be a good out-of-the-box solution but I can't for the life of me find that property in the List filters. I only see Deal and Company. I'd like to build a list of Contacts who have a Contact Association, similar to what you get with the View all associated contact button on the Contact Record, with the count like they show it.

@jrtbv first select "Company (Associated Object)", then click "Company properties" first, then search for "Create date" and filter for "is known". Then you should see the association label.

I think what you are missing is the : Contact is associated to any company""Then you click there and set the label.

... click "Company properties", then find "Create date", select "is known" and then you should see the option to specify the label.

That depends on which object the contact is associated to. Is it a label for a deal, company?

Generally yes, you can build lists based on association labels but the steps depend on those details.

There are no deals, its a simple Contact to Company Association and the Lable is Decision Maker so I can identify those contacts that are decision makers.    I then wantto create a list that contains "Decision Makers" only.

No deals are involved it is pureely to identify those Decision Makers, via a List and then email them

I'm trying to follow your steps on this. However I can't find any field that has label oni it. See screenshot.
