Creating Tasks

I am trying to create a follow task to contact a lead on a proposal that i jsut sent out

WHen I fill out the tasks To DO-it wont let me create-a red circle with line in it prevents me from saving/creating the task.

What am I doing wrong

Could you please share a screenshot? When you hover your mouse over the red circle, are you seeing a tooltip?
