Created too many lists by accident, can't delete them

I created a few personas; I clicked "Automatically create smart lists" because why not. But now I find that I'm over my limit of smart lists because each persona created four lists!! I definitely don't need that level of granularity.

But I can't delete any of those new smart lists; they all say "this list can't be deleted because it's used in other places" and the other place is Personas. But that's not true; the list _uses_ the persona, but the persona doesn't _use_ the list. So how can I delete those extra lists?
