Create quote - With terms less than a year but billed annually

Hi,

Case Ex:- I wanted to create a quote with a term value equal to 7 months but billed annually and not monthly.

I am unable to create this and receiving an error, as the term should be in multiple billing frequencies.

If I choose the billing frequency as monthly - The quote gets created with a monthly tag, split over months. I wanted a annual value,to be billed to the customer in one go.

I found a soln to the above for internal reporting correct ARR - After creating a quote and publishing the quote as per customer requirement - Billable yearly, I came back to the deal and changed the billing term from one time to monthly - This allows me to get the ARR value to my revenue distribution.
And this does not impact to my published quote.

That's a great question, I want to invite our top experts to this conversation @courtney_hickey @Bryantworks any recommendations to creating quotes that is billed annually?

Thank you,

I have this split into two SKUs, one for proration/one-time fee with correct term months and a second for ARR and a full year.

The problem with this is you have to have them both on the same deal/quote in order to correctly count the ARR, and sometimes the customer doesn't like to see both/doesn't want to pay both at the same time. Something to work out with your billing team.
