Create Membership renewals

SOLVE

Hi everybody!

We are a very small association with roughly 100 subscribers that pay an annual (or in some cases partial) subscription quote. What we would like to do is to track who is already member and then activate a reminder when we have to ask for membership renewals, atomated if possible. The association is with contacts that are active members (or prospects) and track their membership status and subscription payment.

DO i have to create a pipeline? how do i create this?

Thank you for the help 🙂

Create Membership renewals

HI @NA4W

In the starter version you wont be able to do this with an automation

You will need to look for a 3rd party tool or upgrade to pro.

THe first step is to save the Membership end date in a custom property

and then you can build your automations to send an email or notification, let say, 350 days later fo that date.

There is a new workspace (for PRo and Enterprise) in Beta that helps you exactly to do this without having to build automations yourself, but you will still need to upgrade.

I leave you an article with more info here

Hope this helps

To track and manage membership renewals for your association:

1. **Use a CRM or Membership Management Tool**: Tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, or dedicated membership software can help track memberships and automate reminders.
2. **Create a Pipeline or Workflow**: Set up a pipeline to track subscription status and renewal dates. Many tools have built-in features for reminders and automated emails.
3. **Automate Reminders**: Configure automated reminders for upcoming renewals based on your subscription dates.

You may not need a pipeline if you're using a tool specifically designed for memberships, as they often include these features.

Create Membership renewals

SOLVE

Hey @NA4W, thank you for posting in our Community!

To manage your membership renewals and track subscriptions in HubSpot, start by ensuring all members and prospects are added as Contacts. Create custom properties to track membership status and subscription details. You can use workflows to automate renewal reminders based on these properties. If it helps, you can also create a custom pipeline to visualize the renewal process. This setup will help you keep track of active members and send reminders when renewals are due.

To our top experts, @Jnix284 and @Lucila-Andimol do you have any recommendations for @NA4W matter?

Thank you,

Pam
