Create Internal Notification When a New List is Created

SOLVE

As the title states, I'm currently trying to create a workflow that will send an internal email to a few users whenever a new list is created. These are the steps I'm taking:

1. Create workflow > Property based workflow

2. Choose the property: List > changed

3. Add action to send an internal email notification

The issue is with step 2; I do not see lists as an option in the property dropdown menu. Has anyone else run into this issue or have any tips on how I can troubleshoot this? Thank you in advance.

Create Internal Notification When a New List is Created

SOLVE

Hi @MDeLaOSanchez,

This is currently not possible – Workflows process contacts, companies, deals etc, but not lists. There aren't any list-based workflows yet. In other words, even if you currently see options to filter for lists, you're filtering for list membership of records. Each record on that list would trigger a notification. 100 contacts on 1 list would be 100 notifications, not 1.

As far as workarounds go, you could create an app based on the HubSpot API – although I would argue that it's easier for a dedicated person to check the CRM regularly and simply manually send a notification.
