Correct email address spelling

lösung

Is there a way from a workflow to fix the typos for email addresses. We have a lot of "gmai.com" in our database and the data checker suggests removing (counter-productive) and support recommended export/fix/reimport but this isn't a live option.

Has anyone solved this?

Hi @AMulready,

In Operations Hub Professional, you can use data formatting in workflows to achieve this: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/workflows/format-your-data-with-workflows

If third-party integrations are an option, I'd recommend looking into Insycle: https://ecosystem.hubspot.com/marketplace/apps/marketing/data-management/insycle

Generally, however, exporting your contact, removing all columns but the record ID and email address in the file, then re-importing after cleaning up the email addresses is the simplest and cheapest option. During the mapping process, you can map the record ID column and HubSpot will update each contact based on its record ID.

Best regards!
