We have a user case where we need to create copies of existing deals (when we lose a deal, we want to create a new copy to put into a separate pipeline to watch for future opportunity).
Is there a way to copy over the details of a deal into a new deal record?
Hi @Augustus, the easiest way to do this is with Clone Attack - it would require a paid plan to clone via automation, if you're doing this a lot it's well worth it.

Hapily is a great company, but for anyone else without the means for a paid solution or if IT is wary of app connections, you can do this very easily within workflows if you can create records (Pro + subscription). Here's the create records kb.
Use a Deal-based workflow and enroll on property change "closed-lost" with any additional filters needed (like filter out if they were not a good fit for future outreach).
Then create deal record, designate pipeline/stage and "Add more properties" to copy values to the new deal and even copy timeline activity.
Hey there, just to add some diversity here, there is an app CloneNer, that also can do same and offer automation without workflows, which works for every HubSpot portal. Best, John
