Copy Contact to Deal (Workflow)

resolver

Hello!

We have Contact, Publisher (Custom Object), and Deal. A Contact is associated with a Publisher, and a Publisher is associated with a Deal. We need to either copy the Contact from the Publisher to the Deal or add the Contact that is associated with the Publisher directly to the Deal with Workflow. In other words, we need to add the Contact to the Deal from Publisher with Workflow

Copy Contact to Deal (Workflow)

Hi @MichailIvanov,

When you say copy, do you mean associate?

If so, then this can be done with workflow association actions: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/workflows/manage-crm-record-associations-with-workflows

This requires there to be a shared value in a single-line text, multi-line text, or phone number property on both records you'd like to associated.

If this does for some reason not work, you can look into Associ8 (third-party integration) or would have to create your own custom-coded solution based on the HubSpot API: https://developers.hubspot.com/docs/api/crm/associations
