Copy COMPANY owner to DEAL owner

We have a workflow that creates a new deal for a renewing customer. Companies are assigned to Account Managers. That Account Manager needs to be assigned to the deal. There doesn't seem to be any way to copy properties from different objects.

Any ideas?

Hi @sd_soundstripe,

There is - you can either set the new deal's owner right when the deal is created in the workflow (pulling the value of the owner from the associated company) or you can use 'Edit record' workflow action to copy values: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/workflows/choose-your-workflow-actions#edit-records

In both cases, unfortunately, the UI has recently changed for the worse. You need to first select the target field, them click into an empty source field which opens a sidebar from which you can select the source property.
