Control Views by Team

SOLVE

Hello,

 

I want to organize views by Team. Blocks of customers and deals should only be seen by the designated Team. In other words, I want to prevent users from accessing some contacts/companies/deals. 

 

How can this be achieved?

@shane99 You can add new property that is an Owner property. This will pull from your users so you can have multiple owner roles if you have different roles on your team (i.e Account Executive, Sales Manager, Business Development Rep). This feature is relatively new - see here -Assigning Objects to Multiple Owners - New

 

Team Views is very limited you can only set up the default view but individual users can set up their views so if you make a template for teams they can update individually. Not a great solution but the only option today.

Ok, thank you @HubSpotMaster

 

So I did the following:

 

1. GOTO: Settings > Properties > Deal Properties

2. CREATE Property

3. FILLED in fields and selected Field Type "HubSpot User"

4. CLICK Create

5. GOTO: Settings > Sales > Deals > Deal Record Properties > Manage

6. SELECT name of new field

7. CLICK Save

 

Then:

 

8. GOTO: Deal

9. SELECT: Field name and the additional HubSpot user

10. CLICK Save

 

DONE.

Hey @shane99 

 

I think you might be able to do this, but by a user basis.  I didn't see a control via the teams view of the settings, but on the user level you can set this up:
