Contacts are automatically created from incoming emails
Good day Community,
I hope you can assist. Hubspot automatically creates new contacts from emails received from contacts not on the CRM. I tried to follow the advice on the community board regarding this, however the settings on the our Free version are not the same, thus I can't find where to switch this off (deselect logging and tracking of emails).
Can you please assist with the steps to resolve this?
Would you please specify which sales extension you're using? Is it the Outlook, Office 365 or Gmail extension?
Do you have a screenshot of the extension settings you could share with us? The more information and screenshots you can provide, the more the community can exist.

Thank you for your response. I believe we are using Gmail. I will try and get screengrabs of the settings from the relevant email account as my email isn't syncing so I don't have extension settings on my side. I will revert back.
