Contacts Import Far Too Difficult & Inaccurate To Use HubSpot

Don't know about anyone else, but my attempt to follow the chatbot's instructions for importing my contacts to use the free CRM was fraught with unresolvable difficulties from the beginning.  I am ready to throw in the towel.  None of the instructions work, and I ended up with a contacts list missing all of my fields but the first name and email.  The instructions didn't match the interface, and the interface didn't allow me to fix this issue.  If HubSpot can't offer a far better UI their CRM tool is a waste of my time.  😕

If there are specific points not answered there, please let me know. Also feel free to share a screenshot of the mapping step and I can confirm whether it's set up correctly as per your requirements.
