Contacts Associating with Multiple Companies (Same Domain)

Hi All,

Apologies if this is a repeat question I have looked through some but they don't necessarily answer my exact question.

I was wondering if you have multiple companies with same domain name and for example an inbound lead comes in via a form with that domain, will it associate to all companies with that domain?

I have target accounts for sales reps, and want to ensure that these target accounts when an inbound lead comes in for them, they get assigned to the company owner of the target account however we have a few duplicates domain names of target accounts so want to know if they get assigned to a duplicate will they atleast get assigned to the target account too?
