Contact & Deal Property Views not syncing across team

SOLVE

when we update property views for contacts and deals they are not viewable as the default view across our team & we need them to be. Any suggestions?

Hi @JSmeaton views can be created and shared with yourself (creator of the view), your team (those on the same team as you), or everyone.

 

So if you want default views per team, you would need to have someone on each team create those views and help the separate teams configure those as their default (pinned) views.

 

The super admin option to set the account-wide default views is not able to be differentiated by teams - this would be a great idea to add to the discussion here.

Happy to help @ALaRue - while the default view is unique per user (what filters are applied, what columns show) you can configure shared views and super admins can determine the default views for users.

 

As part of the onboarding for your new team member, you can configure the default views for their account before you hand over access. Having a clear process document about how your team is using HubSpot will also help them to setup their views accordingly.

Are we able to configure default views for different teams?

For example, if we have an Estimating Team and a Sales Team, can we configure the Default views for Estimators to be View X and Z, and for Sales to be View Y and Z?
