Contact Properties

SOLVE

Hi,

I created a new property for my HubSpot and need to add it to several contacts. Is there a way to do this without going to the contact page for each and every contact that needs this property?

Gotcha @jic,

There are primarily two ways to get it done ...
-1- Use the Contact Preview and edit each contact individually.
- see image

HubSpot Contact PreviewHubSpot Contact Preview

-2- Bulk edit properties for contacts you select from a View Filter
- see Bulk Edit Records

Hi,

When you click on a contact and then press 'view all properties' on the left, you can add properties to your contact. If you want these properties to be shown for all you contacts, you can then press 'Set default properties' on the left of your screen.

Once added to the first contact property you'll see your new property on all other contacts as well. 🙂

Sorry, I think my question was a little vague. I need the property to be "known" for specific contacts so that I can use the filter feature to search for contacts on that list.

The property I created was for an event that we hosted and I created it to have multiple checkboxes (one for attended and one for invited). So I wanted to mark Bill, Ted, Sue, etc. as attended and Steve, Jill, Kim as invited without having to go to each of their pages. Is there a way to do that? Perhaps in the property page?
