Contact Properties for a lead 'competitively lost' during the sales process

In your processes, what combination of Property settings to you use to set up a list of contacts that you lost when qualifying them?

 

That is, not "unqualified to buy", but "bought elsewhere".

In our systems, this is usually a deal property called Closed Lost Reason. This property is a dropdown select with fixed values including something like 'Lost to competitor'. 

 

Using this value we can create lists or build a workflow to automatically reach out in, say, six months. 

 

This type of set-up could also exist at the contact level if necessary.

Yes, I'm doing it that way, but probably with a dropdown so we can standardise reporting.

Pity it has to be manual, as the client is on Starter, but I'll write some workflows to make sure that a Pro+ customer has some automation behind it
