When my contacts populate from my website, they are not going into the right fields. How can I fix this? When I export the list, the names and emails are not in the right places.

Can I fix it historically and can I fix it going forward?

Hello @Nadshocter,

This screenshot is not from a HubSpot form, it's a non-HubSpot form that HubSpot is collecting, because you installed the tracking code.

There are certain rules to follow when you want HubSpot to "understand" and map fields from an external form correctly: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/forms/use-non-hubspot-forms#mapping-non-hubspot-form-fields-and-hubspo...

All data submitted to non-HubSpot form fields will only match to single-line text field type properties in HubSpot. Non-HubSpot form fields cannot match with other field types.

Non-HubSpot form fields cannot be manually mapped. HubSpot will automatically try to map form fields to existing contact properties in HubSpot using logic described under the link above.

If you're referring to this setting, then this is AI-based. An AI can be wrong, unfortunately. There isn't any fix here, you would have to check and clean this up manually.

But when it pulls through in contacts, this same contact looks like this:

Both, if the Hubspot form populates from the website, are having this problem and if anyone emails us directly and that tracks into hubspot from our email synch.

Hi @Nadshocter,

Could you share a bit more detail here please? Would take a screenshot of the HubSpot form (in the form editor)?

With direct emails, are these going into a personal connected inbox or a shared conversations inbox in HubSpot?

Best regards

This is how the form comes in from the website.

The synched emails are accounts that we have on hubspot but we are running in Gsuite.

@karstenkoehler thanks so much, will have a look. It never used to do this, so I am not sure what changed to create the problem.

Hi @Nadshocter, is this a form you created in HubSpot or a form from your website that HubSpot recognized after installing the tracking code?

@karstenkoehler I see that on my assitant's account the fields are showing properly, why could this be? Can I clear filters anywhere?
