Connecting Salesforce Opportunity Contact Role to HubSpot Contact Role

Hello,

I'm trying to set up a sync between HubSpot Deals and Salesforce Opportunities, where I can associate a contact as the "Primary Contact" within a Deal.

Our Sales team currently creates an Opportunity in Salesforce and marks a contact as the "Primary Contact."

I would like this contact to be synced into HubSpot Deals as well.

I've set up a Deal/Contact association label but can't find a way to sync between the two. 

Any help would be much appreciated 🙏

To sync the "Primary Contact" from Salesforce Opportunities to HubSpot Deals:

• Create Custom Fields:

  • In Salesforce, create a custom field on the Contact object called "Primary Contact."
  • In HubSpot, create a similar custom field for contacts.

• Set Up Sync Integration:

  • Configure the HubSpot and Salesforce integration.
  • Map the custom field from Salesforce to HubSpot in the integration settings.

• Test the Sync:

  • Create an Opportunity in Salesforce and mark a contact as the "Primary Contact."
  • Confirm that the contact updates correctly in the associated HubSpot Deal.

1. Create a Custom Field in Salesforce for the "Primary Contact."

2. Set Up a Corresponding Property in HubSpot to store this data.

3. Map the Fields using HubSpot's Salesforce integration.

4. Test the Sync by creating an Opportunity in Salesforce and confirming it updates the HubSpot Deal correctly.

This ensures your primary contacts sync seamlessly between both platforms.
