It is possible to switch between separate accounts currently. When you click "Go To My Account" on the HubSpot homepage, you should be taken to a "HubSpot Accounts" page where you can choose which account to access. Once you are in your CRM for a given account, you can select the Account name in the upper right hand corner of your screen, and there are options to switch between your HubSpot accounts there.
If you add yourself using the same email address to each of these as a user, you will be able to switch between them from only one login. Once you're logged in using that main account you can switch between each without having to log in again. See screenshot:

why might this be needed? Because you work with multiple companies and your work is customer facing therefore the user account must have the same email address for communication to be under proper nomenclature.
