Completing Tasks from Contact Page

SOLVE

How can I complete a task from the Task/Upcoming task module in the Contact page? 

 

Having to go to the main tasks area and fish it out is frustrating.

 

Is it not possible?

SOLVE

@DBrazil no worries, you can do this directly from the contact page by clicking the check mark for the task.

 

In your example, it has a red circle around it because it is overdue. Sometimes it will just be grey (if it's not due yet) and when you complete it will change to solid green with the checkmark in white.

It's supposed to be really intuitive, but if no one's shown you, it's really easy to miss 🙂

you're welcome @Robin_Miller, glad you found this thread to figure it out!

 

It used to be a little more obvious, I think the more the design was cleaned up the less obvious it became for new users who didn't know what it looked like before.

 

One reason it's missed is if you're using task queues, since it checks it off for you during the queue it can be jarring when you look at a task outside of the queue.

 

If you're not using task queues, highly recommend!
