Is there a way to create some kind of a tag for companies, where users are able to add new tags directly from the company record screen? I searched alot and seems like this is not an option.
I can either create a custome propert with multiselect, but than I need to predefine the options for the tags and only way to update and add new options is in the settings (as Admin), or I can create a text property, which will have all the words show up together, and will be prone to mistakes.
I am looking for something similar to any task platform, for example, where you can add lables "on the go" and each users will be able to add info such as 'good', 'cold', 'contacted', etc.
Here is an example from Notion, as you can see at the top- it mentions you can select an option or create one (from the same main view) by typing in.
This is unfortunately not possible, no. There is no feature in HubSpot which would let you add tags as you go. The best option, as you already mentioned, is using a multiple checkboxes property for this, which – correct – requires 'Edit property' permissions.
