Company attributes out of sync between left sidebar and right

Im working with Deals, and in the process of creating a deal we connect it to a company (amongst others). One of the parameters of a company is the company size, this value is entered but somehow its not showing up in the left sidebar, eventho the attribute is configure to show up there: (the bar on the side is the preview of the company that is linked to the deal).

Anywhere else that i look the value is properly set.  Is this a known issue, or something that we are doing wrongly in connecting the associations or something?

Company attributes out of sync between left sidebar and right

Hi Josh,

thanks for the response. unfortunately, this doesnt solve the issue.

We are using the (legacy/v1) api to set these values, they are coming from our ERP/CRM system.

the flow here is that we first create the company and its contacts (if not existing), then create the products (if not existing) and ultimately we create the deal, associate it with the contacts, the company and the products (line items).

after a run the value is visible with the company, and also when we do a preview of the company in the deals page in the right column, we see the value. but in the left bar, we configured to show these attributes, but they are not showing up. (as shown in the screenshot).

Company attributes out of sync between left sidebar and right

Hi @Foeth,

It's hard to say from the screenshot, but 2 things come to mind (assuming you are using a Workflow to "connect" the values:

  • There is an issue with the enrollment criteria of the workflow that isn't actually setting the value on the company record.
  • There is a delay in the workflow and eventually, it will be set. Usually, this delay isn't going to be long, but you probably won't see it run immediately.

I would recommend using the TEST feature on the workflow to see if shows that it meets all criteria to enroll...if not you would want to address that first.

Happy to work through this with you on a screenshare if the above doesn't resolve the issue.
