Clone Deal across Child Companies

Hi - we have a number of Parent-Child scenarios where a Deal for one Child needs to replicated across the entire Parent's estate (i.e.one or more of the other children).  Currently this is a cumbersome manual duplication process - is there anyway to automate this so that each child has a clone of an initial Deal?  The Deals do need to be indivual to each Child, so multpile associations to a single Deal won't work for this.

Is there anything that can be done here?

Very clear, thank you @PEdwards71 ! I don´t believe that is possible right now.

Hi @PEdwards71! You could use workflows. 

There's also an app in the HubSpot marketplace you might want to investigate: Deal Duplicator

Also one comment (without further knowledge of why deals are being duplicated), it might make the data in the CRM unreliable.

I looked into Workflows, but couldn't see a way to recreate the deal under a different Company object.  I also think Deal Duplicator only duplicates within a single Company object...?

The full scenario is this - we supply Dental Practice Management software, and a proportion of our customer base have estate of more than one Dental Practice in their portfolio (hence the general use of Parent-Child Companies).  Each Dental Practice (i.e. Child Company) will need to have a record of it's own Deal as it represents a separate instance of our software solution (the Parent Company mostly just acts as a header for the Org structure).  This also facilitates account management should there be any additons or reductions to the estate e.g. a location is sold off to another party, or thePraent Company decides to add or reduce any addiotnal service we supply in specific locations.  However, in most cases every location will require the same Deal 'template', hence the request for a replication tool

Thank you for you help & continued patience with this.  The video was very useful, but still not what we are looking for I'm afraid.  I'm not sure I'm explaining this correctly,  but  the Deal needs to be separate & unique for each Child Company, so updating an aspect of one, does not affect the others e.g.

An instance of our system is £5k with Line Items X, Y & Z

Child Company 1 requires it own individual clone.of this Deal and associated contract @ £5k

Child Company 2 requires it own individual clone.of this Deal and associated contract @ £5k

Child Company 3 requires it own individual clone.of this Deal and associated contract @ £5k

So in total we need 3 separate unconnected Deals (other than the companies are siblings)

Does that make sense?
