Hello - I am trying to create a custom property under "Deals" that will capture the first entry in to "Amount." This way, I can caluclate a property that is 'Amount' - 'Starting Amount' = Difference. Sometimes we create a deal and it is $10,000 but then we adjust and close at $8,000. I want to see the revenue lost or gained in this scenario.
This is faily easily achieved with a deal-based workflow. You'd enroll deals when "Amount is known", then use the "Copy property value" workflow action to copy the value from "Amount" into "First known amount". By default, workflows only enroll records once. In other words, by doing this, you're freezing the value in "First known amount".
Without a Professional subscription and access to deal-based workflows, this would require custom coding via the HubSpot API.
Hope this helps!
