Cannot find contacts based on company name

I have added a new company and 3 associated contacts. The company shows up in the Company list and the details show the connected contacts. These contacts also show up in the Contacts list with the associated company as Primary Company.

However, when I search for this company in the Contacts list using the search field, no contacts are shown.

I have tested other companies but then this doesn't happen.

What did I do wrong?

Hey @AadLiefveld  I know this may sound like a stupid question, but when you say "search" what do you mean?
Are you using Contacts filters to find contact records who are associated with your company records? 
Or are you using contacts search to look for a keyword in contacts? 

If it's the latter, contacts search doesn't consider associated objects (such as companies) in it's search results, it attempts to find the most approriate record for the keyword you've entered. 

If you're looking to find something like "all employees who have an associated company of XYZ" filters or lists are what you're looking for. 
You should create a filter or something like "contact (object) has an associated company (object) with the name of 'HubSpot'" 

If you're searching in the contacts tool, you're going to get the most appropriate contact record that suits those keywords. If you want to get all contact records who have an associated company I'd advise using filters or lists and setting the filters as something like "contacts who have an associated company of *company record name*"

Hi Tom, I'm using the search field in the Contacts tool/view. I did not create a filter.

I have added other companies and when using these, the associated contacts pop up. However, this one company cannot be found this way. I looked at all the fields on company and contact but couldnt find any differences.
