Cannot edit logo on my own contact record

I can edit the logos of all the contacts within my company who have access to Hubspot, however, I cannot replace the logo on my own record. When I click on it, it takes me to the preferences area and not the logo replace panel. Is there any way for me to access this and change it?

Hi @CapChris,

Another HubSpot user seems to have had similar problem here.

In your case, HubSpot might be pulling the company photo instead of your user photo selected in the account settings. Have you tried changing the photo of the company associated with your contact? (steps explained here)

Yes, I changed the company logo first, and then when this did not update the records, I went through changing them individually. Do you know where hubspot obtains what it thinks is the company logo from off the Internet?

Hi @CapChris, 

HubSpot is using a proprietary database for this, including images from social media (probably LinkedIn). I can also imagine that it's crawling the company website through the URL. This seems to be an issue for other users as well and apparently hasn't been resolved yet: https://community.hubspot.com/t5/CRM/BUG-Incorrect-Company-Image-Source-and-company-icon-in-contact/... I assume that - since this is automatically populating - it will never be 100% accurate.

The good news is that your contacts and companies will not see this internal photo.

Thanks Karsten, I think this is one just to let go: I can ask another admin to change it for me and I must assume that would work...
