I want to set up a shared inbox for support@cord.com. We have a Google Group set-up for support@cord.com but it's not an actual email address, so I can't log-in to it like it prompts me to do when I set up the shared inbox. Does anyone know a way around this?

Thank you for reaching out.
To connect a Google Groups account or a hosted email account as a team/shared email, you need to select Other mail account and not Gmail.
You can then follow these steps:
Forward emails to a hosted email address in the conversations inbox
You cannot connect directly to the address but you'll be able to forward the incoming emails.

Thanks. I've made it this far, but can't verify this address because it can't actually recieve an email since it's a Google Group. What should I do in this case?

I had a look and you will need to work with the admin of the Google Group to enable the receiving of messages to be able to complete the verification, which should be possible by following the steps here
