Can you create a property with a dropdown of all contacts currently on my HubSpot

Hello,

I would like to create a dropdown property which contains all the contacts that exist on my HubSpot

The plan is to help us track client referrals, and since we have 1000s of clients, I was hoping that HubSpot has an exisiting feature to do this.

Does anyone have a solution or discovered a work around to this issue?

Which part of associating contacts to contacts should I elaborate on exactly? The idea would be to maintain referrals through the right sidebar, after creating an association label for "Referrer".

Hey @HRichthe2nd 

so for referrals you have multiple options here:

1) have a custom property that marks a contact as a referral

2) Association labels: when a current contact in the CRM refers a new contact you can mark it with a level. so this way you will have in the CRM the referrer and referred.

here is more info on how to use associationg label.

3) Have Referrals as Custom object: when working with a referral system/partners/representative you can handle this as a new object (Enterprise licence Needed!) this works similar as Contacts but with a new name.

Could you expand a little on your association idea?

Will associating/labelling contacts make them easier to report on? Can you report on association labels in the custom report builder?

This property type does unfortunately not exist and can also not be created.

Instead, have you considered simply associating contacts with contacts (via the right contact sidebar) and using association labels to name these associations? https://knowledge.hubspot.com/object-settings/create-and-use-association-labels
