Can't find BCC, BCC not working

I'm admin for my team.  Currently on Free version of CRM.  BCC is accessible to me through Settings > Object > Activities.  Others and I use BCC fine.  I added a new user.  For him however there is no Activities menu selection under Object. 

 

I tried the manual method - [Your Hub ID]@bcc.hubspot.com.  I found his ID in Properties > Contact owner.  He tested the BCC address with this address.  But it did not work.  There was no new contact or any response from the sent mail.

 

How can we get this fixed and working?

Bérangère - Thank you.  I appreciate your response.

I discovered what happened and am good now.

A standard default user used to have - but no longer has - the perms.   This is provided through the "Communicate" group, which can't be changed.

But a Super Admin has full access, including BCC.  Plus there is a workaround - find an older standard user with access and copy their rights.

Thank you for checking with the Community!

I understand that you are trying to log an email into HubSpot using the BBC email address. Also, you want a new contact record created. Please let me know if that's not the case.

I'd like to ask some clarifying questions to make sure we understand what's happening:

1. How are you sending the email? From HubSpot? From you personal inbox?
2. Are you using the HubSpot Sales extension in your own inbox? Did you check that the settings were correct to log and create new contacts?
3. Which contact record are you expecting to be created? The recipient of the email?
4. Is the contact that you'd like to be created in HubSpot is in copy of the email? Or just as the recipient of the email?

The more info, screenshots (without sensitive/confidential information), and details you can provide, the better the Community can assist.
