Can social media contact be logged as a contact type?

Hi there, 

I want to log contact with some of the contacts I've created, but I want to create activity types other than calls or emails. Specifically, I want to be able to note that I've reached out to a contact via social media (LinkedIn, Facebook or Twitter). 

Is this possible? These seem like legitimate ways of keeping contacts alive and active, in addition to more conventional emailing and calling.

Social definitely is a legitimate way to keep contacts engaged - but it is not possible to create custom activity types for logging in this HubSpot. For now, I recommend use use notes, as I do.

Hey there, I was searching this topic, and your post came up. 

There's a new feature that allows you to log LinkedIn activities (also other types of social media reach out such as WhatsApp and SMS)
