Can deals show received marketing (automated) emails?

Hello!

I need deals to track marketing emails. Basically, if a lead signs a form, they receive an automated email. How would I then choose which deals would show this email? I've tried deal-based workflows, they seem to work all right, but there's no marketing email activity in the deals.

Is this supposed to be like this? So that marketing emails can only be logged in the contacts' object type?

Hello @Osnovyanenko, that is correct, at the moment marketing emails are associated with the contact only. The reason is that marketing emails use our servers. They are not meant to count towards sales activities are be singularly associated.
