CRM - is it possible to create different categories for companies?

SOLVE

I am creating various companies within the CRM, but some are clients and some are suppliers. Is it possible to categorise them / filter them so I can look at one set at a time rather than having them all combined?

Hi @blake-ldn,

Yes. The best way to do this is with a custom property. If the companies should only be categorized in one category, I would recommend using a dropdown (listing all available categories that you want to filter by as options).

If the companies can be categorized in multiple ways, I would recommend using the custom property, mutliple checkboxes. That way you can list all the categories and use various checkboxes appropriately.

Here's an article on creating custom properties. If you have issues, book some time with me, I'd be happy to help!
