CRM filter: OR operator between properties

I am looking for a way to add an OR operator between filter properties, say: City = New York OR State = New Jersey. Is that possible?

You are exactly right. We have plans to have this work with both companies and deals aswell. The deals will be a bit challenging and time-intensive so we are releasing a update to make HubTags work with companies first. One to two weeks is when we hope to release the next update.

It took some effort to create a fast working 'OR' feature to filter contacts, but we did it @steinarslatten. I would be very happy to have you try us out: HubTags.

Adding this functionality for deals is on our official request list.

You can also try to use HubTags. for contacts, as far as I can see this is not available for deals at the moment.

Oh boy, rant incoming...

Why wouldn't there be an OR operator when filtering information????

I can barely believe how much our company is paying each month for this CRM when such simple features are either missing or reserved only for 'enterprise' clients. The professional plan is by no means cheap.

I need an OR operator for filtering deals because the simple ability to archive deals also seems to be missing.

This community area seems to be where good ideas go to die. For all my searching for answers as a newbie, I've not seen an example of a missing feature that's actually been implemented yet.

I'm so glad it was my boss' idea to adopt HubSpot and not mine. I'd be fearful of losing my job otherwise.

This is very necessary for the reporting we are doing, and seems like it should be a standard. Is there a potential workaround in the meantime other than running multiple reports?

Can we get an update on if and when we might be able to expect this to be implemented? This seems to be an absolute standard feature in my opinion and I was very surprised when I realized earlier todaz that this is not possible. Thanks!

It is not currently possible to sort by an "or" filter across multiple properties in the CRM filter area. If this is a functionality you would like to see in the CRM in the future, you can search, vote for or post this as a feature request on our ideas forum here: https://community.hubspot.com/t5/HubSpot-Ideas/idb-p/HubSpot_Ideas.

Me too.  Another user just requested this as well as a favorites type of button.  Its something I requeste probably close to 2 years ago.
