Bulk create Deals

We have a list of contacts that we want to create deals against- its 155 contacts to be precise. 

We'll have to do this with a new list of contacts every month. 

whats the easiest way to create deals for these contacts? we need to give them a specific naming convention i.e "Deal Name- Contact Name" so we can report on the deal type. 

I believe the only way is to import the deals - is that correct?

Hi @pugwash,

It looks like you have workflows included in your subscription – which is good since this requires automation.

Deals can easily be created with workflows: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/workflows/how-can-i-create-deals-with-a-workflow In your case, you would create a contact-based workflow. Once you've selected the Create record action, you can set up your deal naming convention using personalization tokens.

Make sure to set up watertight enrollment criteria for this workflow. HubSpot will follow your exact instructions and you don't want deals created for every single contact in your CRM.
