Breeze Data Enrichment issues

We started using Breeze Enrichment and have found the results dissapointing. There is little data for Contacts despite the statements that the enrichments are for both Contacts and Companies. We've also found the data on Companies suspect and innacurate in some categories. Data added to Company does not append to the matching Contact record, so we're paying twice for the same data.

The documentation is not clear, or complete and support is never available. When support replies, they seem to send a cut/paste of the same inadequate documentation with no real answers to our situation. Is anyone else experiencing this?

I tried Breeze Enrichment for contacts, but got little to no results. So we developed a contact enrichment agent, which takes contact level information from HubSpot, discover their LinkedIn profile, and brings data from the profile to properties in HubSpot.

You can try it out here: https://enrichment.sellestial.com/
And let me know if this can help you in any way, and we can connect. As you are in B2B, I assume most of the contacts have LinkedIn profiles, so that approach might work.

Agreed, I have tried to use it but found it deeply disappointing and inaccurate (like most AI at the moment!) so am looking to disable the functionality for our account.

I have set up some quite effective enrichment system via other tools efficiently connected with Hubspot. If you want to discuss some alternatives to Breeze , let me know

I agree there are better ways than manually fixing it. I'm happy to catch up and discuss this further to see if I can help you.

Agree with you @TM-OML - Breeze data are disappointing sometimes

I am strongly suggesting to connect your account to Clay and develop some meaningful enrichment workflow

Let me know if I can help

I'm bummed to hear that you're not getting good results with Breeze @DiStad, I haven't had a similar experience (only used for one account that I consulted on briefly when it was launched). I'm happy to share with others that are using Breeze more, but I'm curious - what is your ICP? and industry? B2B, B2C, or DTC?

I'm wondering if the data for your prospects is harder to find/access or if there's something else going on.

We are advisors/consultants to a narrow market of professional service firms, so B2B. I have instances where the descrition of the prospect firm is shown in the Company record and the Industry Breeze attached is completely off base. LinkedIn and Google both report the correct Industry, so I asked where the Breeze data is sourced.

The reply from support was a cut/paste of " Breeze Intelligence is built on public data, data from third-party vendors, and from across the internet" right from the Breeze sales page on the HubSpot website with advice to

"

  1. Evaluate Data Sources:

    • Consider assessing the data sources and parameters Breeze uses to enrich contact information. Ensure these are aligned with your goals and industry requirements."

Not sure how I do that is the sources are not specifically disclosed, hard to evaluate if they are aligned. I found it myself via the resources I mentioned above.
