Blog post to Email automation

SOLVE

Hello,

I have not spotted a similar topic in the forums so I am asking this specific question.

I like a lot the new feature of writing a +1 Blog post and automate it with an auto email to the subscribers.

Sadly when I execute this automation the content in the email is limited automatically by a "Read more..." button.

It litterally shows a very short email taken by the blog post.

Can you please share how to edit this, do I need to add a longer short description in the blog post to see more text in the auto emails?

Thank you in advance.

Blog post to Email automation

Hi @dgoscale ,

The "Read more" button appears by default so as to encourage readers to click and go through to the full blog post on the website. I have worked on this for Blog but not for emails yet. Bit I guess we cannot eidt the Blog Subscription Email module in Design Manager:

Blog post to Email automation

Hi @dgoscale

If you're seeing only a small part of your blog post in the email with a "Read more..." button, here's how you can adjust it in HubSpot:

  1. Customize the Email Template: You can edit the email template in the automation settings to show more of the blog post content. This gives you more control over how much text is included in the email.

  2. Edit the Blog Post Excerpt: HubSpot automatically pulls a short excerpt from your blog. By extending the excerpt or meta description, you can ensure more content is displayed in the email.

  3. Redirect to Full Blog: The "Read more..." button is designed to drive readers to the full post on your blog, which is a great way to boost website traffic. You can still customize the button's style and placement to encourage clicks.

This setup lets you control how much content is shown in the email while using the "Read more" button to direct readers to your full blog post for more engagement.
