Block accounts from being contacted by someone other than company owner

Hi,

 

I would like to set up a workflow that prevents users from contacting accounts that belong to someone else (have a different "contact owner").

 

Ideally, I would like for everyone on my team to be able to see the record, but only the owner of that account can contact them.

 

Is this possible?

Hi!  Not sure you need a workflow, as this is available in user settings.

View Everything would allow everyone to see the record, but Communicate on owned only, would only let the Contact Owner Call, Email, or schedule a meeting.
