Better Quote numbers that can replace Deal Name!

The quote reference number is wayyy to long to make sense to use for customer phasing quote numbers.

I am currently using the deal ID as our DEAL NAME, which is customer facing, but that is still 10 numbers total which is long.

It would be great if we could set a quote creation numbering system that follows a standard process for every deal created doesn't require manual updates that provides a consistant name...

IE Deal name....

Quote 2001

Quote 2002

Quote 2003

Quote 2004

On top of that...

For integrated systems like fishbowl, have that be the number that imports into the integrated systems instead of the Deal ID.

I wholeheartedly agree. Good news: There is already a request to the product team, being reviewed as of February this year.

Configure quote number format

I'd recommend upvoting and commenting to keep up the pressure.
