Best practice suppliers, leads and clients

Hello all,

 

I am a bit puzzled when it comes to put every contact in it's correct category:

 

When using a crm and integrate Hubspot, every email is logged and send to the platform but:

 

  1. How can i divide contacts into leads or clients
  2. How can i divide my suppliers into verified suppliers and potential suppliers?

Please note thatw e are still testing the free crm version.

Hi @RogerVU 

 

1) The distinction between leads and clients is best handled using the HubSpot lifecycle property - leads would be at the lead lifecycle stage and clients at the customer lifecycle stage

2) There is no specfic way to separate buyers from suppliers and to segment suppliers. You're best best is to use a custom contact and/or company property to flag suppliers and their type.
