Autopopulating Email Addresses when selecting "Create Email"

HubSpot..... I beg you. From the bottom of my humble heart. For the love of all things holy. Please deactivate the auto-population of a contact's email address when I'm in a deal and I select "Create Email." I'm not sure who this helps or how it helps. But it does not help me. I have accidentally and embarrassingly sent multiple emails now to the wrong person because an email address is populated "for me." It is not a time-saver. It actually guesses wrong most of the time, and I always have to be cautious about it, which is counter-intuitive to what Hubspot aims to do. And sometimes.... I don't catch it. And then mistakes happen and emails are sent incorrectly which can lead to very uncomfortable situations. Please, please, please, harken to my petition. Thank you.
It sounds like part of the challenge here is that you're creating emails from the deal record. There can be multiple contacts associated with a deal, so HubSpot won't know exactly which contact you're trying to contact — that distinction needs to be finalized by you.
Alternatively, I recommend sending the email from the record of the specific contact that you're reaching out to. You can select the respective associated contact from the deal record, head to their record, and create the email as needed. The default email recipient will be the email address of the contact you're currently viewing, so that should eliminate unintended recipients from the start. You can also add additional recipients as needed and associate the email with the deal record so that it will show up there as well. Especially since you've had some embarrassing situations before, it would be safest to go the contact vs deal route.

Hi Hubspot, I second Katherine's request. We send out RFQs to our internal team from hubspot and we don't want these going to our customer. Our Sales Reps are sending out the RFQ within the deal so that the RFQs are linked to the deal - are there any workarounds to make sure the email is NOT sent to the customer? Has there been any movement on this request?
