Automatically logging activities to a Custom Object
Hi all!
We've recently created a Custom Object and we would like to have activities synced over (just like a company record where activities are rolled up from the associated contact records).
I'm unable to find a way to do this other than manually associating activities to the Custom Object (which is not an option).
Did anyone else find a solution to automatically log emails, tasks, meetings, notes, and calls from contacts to the associated Custom Object? If you did, please let me know! Love to know how.
Unfortunately, this doesn't seem possible as a forced default. I've successfully associated tasks to a custom object via Custom Code actions inside of a workflow, and I'm sure it would be easy to adapt that object to calls, meetings, and emails.
