Automate custom lifecycle stage?

SOLVE

Is it possible to automate categorization into a custom lifecycle stage as "active lead" for all new leads when they first come in? Thanks!

Sure @fergbreath. However, the automated categorization you're looking for is really LEAD STATUS. (not Lifecycle Stage) Once you create a custom "Active Lead" Lead Status, you'll want to setup a workflow to assign that Lead Status for your new leads.

- see How to Manage Your Sales Process in HubSpot With Lead Status

Customization of the built-in HubSpot Lifecycle Stage isn't permitted by HubSpot. And, building a substitute custom Lifecycle Stage property is a much larger conversation. (not recommended)

Note: Please search for recent posts as HubSpot evolves to be the #1 CRM platform of choice world-wide.

Hope that helps.

Thanks, that is clarifying, and seems like one needs a paid account to automate - good to know.
