Auto enrolling contacts into sequence based on deal date

Good afternoon,

 

I'm trying to automate our deal follow-up process based on deal creation date. We want to drop contacts into a sales follow-up process using a contact based workflow that then uses a sequence.

 

I want to drop contacts into a sequence (3 emails) based on some specific deal creation data:

 

Deal created more than 1 day ago but less than 4 days ago, deal value less than £1,000 and deal status is specific to "quote". I can build this filter and test it works in "deals" with no issues.

If a contact has just one deal that matches the above it works fine, the contact is enrolled and all is good. However, if the contact has 2 (or more) deals with us and one of them doesn't match any of the above criteria then this workflow won't enrol the contact for any deals that DO matches the requirement as it appears the test criteria to enrol them is AND for each deal.

 

For example this contact won't be errolled as deal 1 fails:

Even though deal 2 passes:

In this example I won't be able to drop the contact into the sequence and automate the follow-up process. 

Any suggestions welcome here!!!

Hi @GraemeB,

 

I would consider using a deal-based sequence that changes a property on the contact record. When that property is changed, it enrolls the contact in a separate sequence. At the end of that workflow, it should clear the property that enrolled the contact.
