Great News everyone this is actually now in BETA. Check it out.
What is it?
HubSpot now automatically saves property edits made on the CRM index page.
Why does it matter?
This feature streamlines data entry by reducing clicks and automatically saving information, increasing efficiency and minimizing data loss for CRM users.
How does it work?
When users edit properties on the index page, they no longer need to click ‘Save’. Instead, they’ll see a ‘Save’ status notification at the bottom-left of the screen, indicating when changes are saved.
If you need to undo a property edit, you can click ‘undo’ within the save status component. You can undo your most recent change.

✅ Was was this helpful? Great, mark it as a solution.
Posting for customer need/visibility - they have requested this to be rolled back several times, but so far have only been given a temporary solution. The "undo" button is pointless if it cannot stop other triggers/actions from taking place as a result, most notably workflow actions and notifications.
Another +1 to disable this feature. We require certain properties to be text heavy and this feature is autosaving them before the rep has finished typing which triggers automations to fire early and incorrectly.
Incredibly frustrating to see another half-baked feature released which causes us a big headache.
Same with us, or if you fat-finger something it messes up a whole SLEW of stuff. Not to mention possibly losing the record from a filtered view if you make a mistake...
Dear GOD please turn this off or at least make it an option. We update information from views, and have to scroll ALL the way back down after every single update. There HAS to be a way to turn this off. Make a toggle, so people can have it if they want it, but at least make it so we can turn it off. This is SO aggravating.
New auto save feature is slow and laggy and taking up more time to fill out information - this is not ideal for companies working with information heavy processes. It also is refreshing deal lists and contact lists when saving causing you to lose your place which is also making tasks take more time. This feature needs to either be massively improved or needs to give users the option to turn it on or off independently
We urgently need the ability to disable this feature, as our clients are currently experiencing significant issues. The automation is not functioning as intended due to this limitation, and it’s impacting the overall workflow execution.
A prompt resolution or temporary workaround would be greatly appreciated to prevent further disruption.
Yes we just got the same notification today as well!! We urgently need the ability to turn this off, at least at an individual property level, or a workflow enrollment criteria. Currently thinking of an intermediate solution... right at this moment.
Auto save as an option is a great feature to add to Hubspot CRM, however Super Admin should have the choice to enable or disable this option depending on the department's needs, I hope you will consider giving us this option as soon as possible.
+1 to all the other comments requesting the ability to disable this feature. Workflows trigger on the change of one property before you have a chance to update another which leads records to enroll in incorrect workflows and\or go down undesired workflow branches before you have the chance to update dependant properties.
+1 on this, we have a lot of automations set up that trigger based on property changes. When dealing with downgrades for example some features have multiple properties to edit for a single feature and it takes ages to edit if there are more than 2.
This feature needs to have the ability to disable. There are too many implications with auto-save, potential improper data entry, workflow triggering because of this, removal from a view when you are making edits, etc. The effort to "reduce clicks" is absurd...you are reducing 1 click at the end of the day if you update all necessary properties you want updated before hitting save. Please add functionality to disable on accounts as we don't want this.
I also need the ability to turn off autosave. Records are being removed from a view before all the properties are edited, and this is inconvenient when our president is updating properties from his phone.
Is there any way to turn this feature off? We have automations that fire when a property is updated... One of our automations fired 19 times in 4 minutes. That's a bit extreme.
