Can we create associations between contacts from diffrent companies or between contacts and companies to demonstrate relations IRL (example : Teacher 1 works at school A is friends with Teacher 2 that works at school B OR Teacher 1 is ex employee of school B etc...)
Hi @ManelAb. I have a way, but it is not a developed thing in Hubspot. You are not going to find a "relationships" tab or area. Althought, it could be something for the Idea Board if you feel strongly about having it.
A few relationship things that DO exist is Parent & Child Companies, those can be setup. Also a Contact can belong to multiple companies. For example, a CPA belongs to their own company, but can also be associated to the company the are performing services for so you know who is and is not acceptable to talk to. Just a few examples of what you can setup.
Now back to your question. What I do in a case like you described is make a Note on a Contact (or Company) who I want to crate a reference to other Contacts and/or Companies. Via a Note, I can choose to associate it with multiple contacts and/or companies. This association will make the note appear on all records it is associated with and quick links will also be available to those entities.
