Association of two lists in Hubspot

Hi, I have some contacts in my database in hubspot. 

I have a list of companies that I want to associate with this current database. There may be some companies that overlap in both these. How is that possible?

Thanks for reaching out! I would be happy to dig into this a bit more for you. Just to clarify, are you looking to assciate your list of contacts to a list of companies in your account? 

You mentioned that "there may be some companies that overlap in both these." Can you please clarify a bit more about what you mean? Are you referring to duplicate company records?
