Analyze on Meetings

SOLVE

Hello, I have a question regarding meetings and the possibilities of analyzing (/reporting) on them.

As I understand it, there is currently no possibility to report on the time difference between meeting types, right?
We currently have about 10 different types of meetings, and my goal would be to create a sort of timeline along the process of the meetings, to analyze how long the time periods between certain meetings usually are, which groups of companies take the longest, etc. …

As far as I know, there is only a workaround possibility, where you create timestamps (date-properties) for each meeting and then another KPI-calculation property, that calculates the time difference between the timestamps, correct?

This however, is not very useful for reports, as we then would only be able to report on the KPI-Property, which would just hold a number and no additional information.

Is there a better way to achieve this type of timeline report?
Or in general, is there a way to look at best practices concerning the topic of meetings/ meeting outcomes ?

Thanks in advance!

Hi @maulpaurer,

Unfortunately, HubSpot’s native meeting reporting is limited for this use case. The timestamp/KPI workaround you described is still the most common method.

To add context, create separate custom date properties for each meeting type (e.g., “Discovery Call Date,” “Follow-Up Date”). Use calculated properties to track gaps between these dates. In reports, combine these properties in a custom report (e.g., a line/bar chart grouped by company or meeting type) to visualize timelines.

For best practices, ensure meetings are logged consistently with standardized naming/properties. Some users export data to spreadsheets for deeper date-difference analysis if HubSpot’s reporting feels restrictive.

Let me know if this helps!
